“Dynamic Flow” (music track)

“Dynamic Flow is something I made about 4 years ago when I was trying to create a backing track for a Vlog series I was running. But rather than stop at a simple loop, the music just kept wanting to grow further and further until it was a full track. I still used it for the Vlogs I made, but also like to think of it as a stand alone piece.

Feel free to download this track if you like it (link in top right corner of the above player) for use in your own projects and videos; or simply just to listen to 🙂

Legend Of The Dragons (short story)

TLOTD BOOK ART

“It is said that while the Sun sheltered behind the moon a bright star fell from the heavens. Upon striking the earth, this star split into two halves. One half was thrown to the west, while the other half to the east. When the two halves of this star finally came to rest, from deep within their hollow centre’s a dragon emerged.”

Synopsis: Legend of the Dragons may be short but it’s story tells of such a deep wealth of feeling and emotion. It talks of the loneliness, the struggle and a hope for more in life that many of us face daily. Maybe there is someone for everyone out there, maybe there isn’t, but either way the search can bring about some incredible magic along the way.

It was a little story that I wrote many years ago, from a spark of inspiration which struck me out of nowhere. It was one of those straight from mind to paper in one sitting type of things. It’s perfect if you only have a short time to enjoy a good read 🙂 I’m sharing this freely with all who wish to read it as I think it’s worth something to someone. You can either read it here (left click) or download the PDF to read later (right click and save as)

“Tattered Fate” (art by Westley Nash)

I’ve always been fascinated with the art styles of the playing cards, so this isn’t the first time I’ve ever used cards as inspiration for my artworks. Although I must say that this project is my favourite! I’m not a card player, never been the gambling type, but somehow they always draw me to them.

If you click on each picture it will take you to my DeviantArt page where you can download the file free of charge 🙂

“A Broken Heart” (still beats a rhythm) – [my poetry ebook]

Broken Heart (WORD PRESS)

“The day I felt my heart break, I didn’t know it at the time but I had actually been set upon the very first step of a long journey towards self-discovery and awakening. This path would not be easy, rather full of hardship! Fierce pain and numerous struggles of the heart and mind that would push me to emotional extremes I had never thought possible. My writing became the primary tool with which I built myself anew. Poetry streaming from every feeling, thought and memory that met me at each crossroads. The good, the bad and even the downright ugly all found their way onto paper, and by putting all this energy down, getting that inner struggle out of my being I was able to view my convoluted mash of feeling and deeply troubled thoughts from a place more calm and to maintain an objective distance. It became a workshop in which I crafted my new found clarity and inner peace…”

Westley Nash

Synopsis: A Broken Heart (still beats a rhythm) holds an eclectic mix of poems that can produce different emotions in different people. Ranging from sad and depressive or angry and vengeful, to hopeful and happy, inspired and uplifted. Its a book that appeals to young and old alike, and especially for those who like their poetry a bit more focused on the message and the feeling, rather than the form and complexity. It’s just a frank and open story of emotional evolution! A tale of tragedy and setback, of fighting to break free from the pain and the suffering, all leading to a personal account of seeking reason to strive on and to emerge from out of that storm a brand new person ready to open their big heart to the world once more!

“The Shallows” (digital artwork)

The Shallows

I’ve always had a fascination with the ocean. I find myself as equally scared of it as I am enthralled by it. Created on Sketchbook, The Shallows is an artwork that was born from straight out of that fascination, as even the shallowest of waters hold their beauty as well as their dangers.

This would be ideal as wall art or perfect as a smartphone wallpaper. Feel free to use it as you please. If you click the picture it will take you to my Deviantart page to download for free.

“A Walk in the Woods” (a monologue of hope and happiness)

“How come we always tend to look back as if it were all good? Like a photoshopped life replaying all of the best bits and none of the bad?”

Synopsis: A Walk in the Woods is an inspiring and reassuring short monologue told from the perspective of a man who has finally found the courage to bring an end to a longstanding toxic relationship. Stressed and disillusioned by the ordeal, he returns to a large wood that he used to play in as a child seeking to take comfort in memories of happier times, and yet strangely finds hope for the future hiding here as well as the past.

From the Author: Recently I’ve been starting to get into writing short stories more and more, so decided to turn them into free eBooks. My hope is to offer these stories free of charge as a way to share my work and to also give people something to enjoy. Life can get hard sometimes and being able to just kick back with a little story can make all the difference. “One” an artwork of love <3

One

“One” is an artwork that I made originally for a poem that I wrote of the same name. In the end I never used it for that purpose, but decided that it was good enough to share as a painting in it’s own right. Created on Sketchbook it’s supposed to represent the the souls of two people joining together as one.

This would be ideal as wall art or perfect as a smartphone wallpaper. Feel free to use it as you please. If you click the picture it will take you to my Deviantart page to download for free.
